mark the heralding of a new era in the history of Pakistan as these are
being held after the previous assemblies completed their full term for
the first time in the history of the country.
On
this historic occasion, Press Information Department, Ministry of
Information & Broadcasting, Government of Pakistan has the honour to
present this “Media Guide” to you.
May I take this opportunity to inform you that the contents of this
booklet contain useful information required by a media practitioner in
the efficient discharge of professional responsibilities. May I also
avail this opportunity to inform you that the offices of PID shall
