Ladies and gentlemen!
Education and health are the most critical areas.
The present Government appreciates the need to invest in these sectors to make a meaningful headway in making this country economically prosperous.
We are fortunate that a large and overwhelming segment of our population comprises of youth.
However, if trained and educated properly with relevant professional skills and values, we can use this huge potential to transform this country into a flourishing economy at par with the developed world.
In this regard, our universities and colleges, especially the higher education institutes and professional institutes have a critical role to play towards imparting quality education specially in the disciplines like Medical, Allied Health Sciences, Engineering, IT, Management and Social Sciences.
We need to focus on greater collaboration between the universities and the industry to promote research, job creation and preparing the youth meet the requirements of the market.
Besides imparting quality education to achieve professional excellence.
They must be taught our religious and cultural values and ethos in their true perspective which are essential pillars for a balanced society.
We must train our youth in such a way so that they could face every challenge with strength of mind and character.
I am confident that Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University shall continue following a model for such a system of education which provides a blend of quality and values.
In the end I once again congratulate the graduating students. I wish you success.
May God bless you all.
Pakistan Paindabad.
