Islamabad: March 6, 2010
The Sub-Committee of
the Senate Standing Committee on Youth Affairs has asked the Higher

applicants of the National Internship Programme(NIP), adding that delays
are not only creating frustration among the applicants but would lead to
lapse of funds allocated for the programme.
The Sub-Committee
which was presided over by Senator Abdul Ghaffar Qureshi at the Parliament
House today has urged the universities to evolve ways and means for prompt
verification the credentials and documents of the candidates who have
applied for internship under NIP. The sub-committee endorsed the

are causing unnecessary delays in the verification of the applicants.
