Armaghan Haider 16 years   A four-member delegation of Hazara community visiting Jakarta had a long session with the members of the Emergency Cell of Pakistan Embassy as well as the Ambassador to discuss various aspect of the boat tragedy. Together they discussed how the Mission with the help of the Indonesian authorities can locate the missing bodies as well as identify among the rescued bodies of Pakistani nationals who were reported to have lost life in the tragedy. The delegation is likely to stay in Jakarta till January 2, 2012 and visit Surabaya and Bali. The Mission has already established contacts with the local authorities and Pakistani families settled in Surabaya so that members of Hazara community are given a unilateral access to surviving seven Pakistanis and, if possible, also allow to meet medical team who have already conducted postmortem on all 103 bodies rescued so far. So far, the situation remains the same which is that not a single body has been identified as Pakistani, Afghani, Iranian or Iraqi.
